Cheesy Buns

These are in no way the healthiest side dish, but they were a perfect pairing with our homemade chili the other night.  The weather is warming up so the time to enjoy warm crockpot meals is running thin.  Soon it will be time for salads and any dish I can make that does not involve turning on any sort of heating/warming device!
I made homemade English muffins the other day and the leftovers freeze really well.  They were the base for these cheesy buns.  I love having a stash of delicious things in the freezer.


4 English muffins, halved
1/4 C mayonnaise
1/4 C grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 C grated cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Combine all ingredients except the English muffins in a small bowl.
Spread the cheese mix over the English muffins.
Broil until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Serve warm.
