pizza dough
1/4 C butter
dash of garlic salt
dash of oregano
alfredo sauce
2-3 C fresh spinach (chopped into fine pieces)
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 chicken breast, grilled, chopped into bite-sized pieces
1 tomato, cut into very small pieces
1 C mozzarella cheese
1/2 C fontina cheese (optional, may substitute with mozzarella)
1/4 C parmesan cheese (feel free to add more or less depending on taste)
To begin, make this pizza dough.
Melt 1/4 C butter and add a dash of garlic salt and oregano.
Shape it into the desired shape and coat with a thin layer of melted butter mixture.
Put a thin layer of alfredo sauce on the dough.
Sprinkle chicken, spinach, green onions, and cheeses on top. Fresh mozzarella is a new favorite thing of mine...it was an amazing difference on pizza. You really should try it!
Bake at 425 for about 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with tomatos if desired when it comes out of the oven.
Slice and enjoy!
Variations:
- Try adding mushrooms.
- Instead of chicken, add cubes of fresh, deli ham.
- Add thin slices of artichoke hearts.
