Drop Biscuits

These are amazing with soup, gravy, and as a side to a meat dish.

2 C flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 C shortening (Crisco)
1 C milk

Preheat oven to 450.
Combine the dry ingredients.
Add the shortening and milk and mix well.
"Drop" or scoop onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 9-11 minutes (until golden and cooked through).
Makes 10-12 biscuits.
