Italian Herb Muffins

These muffins are so good!  The garlic butter smothered over the top at the end is a great finishing touch!

2 C flour
2 TBSP grated Parmesan cheese
1 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP Italian seasoning (or half dried basil and half dried oregano)
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 C milk
1/2 C vegetable oil
1/2 C butter, softened
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, sugar, Italian seasoning, baking powder, and salt.
Add egg, milk, and oil until moistened.
Preheat oven to 400.
Grease or line muffin tins and fill 3/4 full.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Combine the butter and garlic powder.  Serve it over warm muffins.
