Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers
10 anaheim or jalepeno peppers
4 oz. softened cream cheese
4 oz. sausage
bread crumbs for rolling
Preheat oven to 400.
Brown sausage in a frying pan. Drain the browned sausage.
Cover a cookie sheet with a sheet of foil.
Slice peppers in half horizontally. Remove the seeds and insides of the peppers leaving the shell intact.
Combine cream cheese and sausage in a mixing bowl.
Spoon the cream cheese and sausage mixture into the pepper halves so it just barely peeks over the top of the pepper shells.
Roll the stuffed peppers in bread crumbs and place on cookie sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
