Breadsticks

My good friend Sarah makes these awesome breadsticks that easily became one of our favorites.
1 package yeast (1 TBSP)
2 TBSP sugar
1 1/2 C warm water
3 1/2 C flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 - 1/2 cube butter, melted
garlic powder, salt, grated Parmesan cheese

Mix yeast, sugar, and water.
Let mixture sit for 5 mintues.
Add flour or salt (add flour 1 cup at a time...you may need a little less or a little more).
Cover and let the dough rise for 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter.
Spread the dough out in a rectangle about 1/4" thick.
Cut the dough into about 10-12 even strips.
Lif each strip of dough by both ends.
Dip the loop into the butter and then twist and place in a 9x13 pan.
Repeat with each strip of dough.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and garlic salt to taste.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
