Easy Fudge

On the 2nd day of Christmas my true love gave to me...easy, rich fudge!

This is one of the easiest fudge recipes you could ever make.  It is originally from my great grandma.  It is fun too because you can add "mix-ins" depending on your mood or craving.  I have added Andes Mint chips, candy canes, and other festive treats.

10.66 oz canned evaporated milk (just over 1 1/4 C)
4 C sugar
20 large marshmallows
2 C semi sweet chocolate chips
1 C butter (plus extra for buttering the pan)

Butter an 9"x13" pan.
Put the chocolate chips and butter into a large bowl.
Add canned milk, sugar, and marshmallows to a large saucepan.
On medium heat while stirring continuously, bring the mixture to a boil.
Boil for 6 minutes - still stirring constantly.
Pour the heated mixture into the bowl and mix well.
Pour into the buttered pan and refrigerate until set (overnight is preferred).
