Rice Krispie Treats

Let me start out by saying how disappointed I was that the recipe on the box of Rice Krispies has changed since I was a kid!  It has more krispies and less marshmallows.  Now, that is absolutely unacceptable seeing as the best kind of rice krispie treats involve gooey-ness and not crunchiness...so I adjusted the recipe on the box to accomodate my gooey taste!  This time around I decided to make special rice krispies...ones that are a little more than the normal marshmallow and krispie bars.  These recipes are totally up to you as far as amounts go, just add a little bit at a time until they taste like you want them to taste like!

Sweet and Salty Rice Krispie Treats:

1 rice krispie recipe
white chocolate chips
mini pretzel sticks, broken up into small pieces

Lightly coat a casserole dish (size depends on how thick you want your treats!) with butter.
Once the rice krispies are finished, add the white chocolate and pretzels to taste.
Spread them out into the pan and cut (or pull) and enjoy!

 Chocolate Sprinkle Rice Krispie Treats:

1 rice krispie recipe
white chocolate chips
chocolate sprinkles
colorful sprinkle balls

Lightly coat a casserole dish (size depends on how thick you want your treats!) with butter.
Once the rice krispies are finished, add the white chocolate and sprinkles to taste.
Spread them out into the pan and cut (or pull) and enjoy!

Do you have a favorite rice krispie treat "filling"?
